St. Petersburg is a place where you want to come back again and again. People call it Russian Venice, and the Northern capital. There are so many beautiful places, almost 250 museums, more than 300 bridges, beautiful cathedrals, and so on.

If you decide to visit St. Petersburg, it is a great idea. I share a map for 2 days visit:

You can add or remove places you wish to visit. For example, walking through the Nevskiy Prospect you can visit Bulla Fund museum-photo. Working hours: Mon–Sat: 10:00–20:00.  And near that building you can make a photo with photographer monument. And on the way to Anichkov bridge you can see a very interesting gift shop which is called “Mood Generator” (Генератор Настроения).

Yekaterinskiy square also is on Nevskiy avenue.

St. Petersburg is a very green city full of parks. I took this photo in one my favorites, Park Pobedy (Victory Park). It is situated near the subway Park Pobedy, and Pulkovo airport.

In my other posts I’ll inform you about museums of Petersburg and free visiting days 🙂

If you are a bookworm you’d visit Singer House (Дом компании «Зингер»), also widely known as Book House (Дом книги). It is a historical landmark building and officially recognized as an object of Russian historical-cultural heritage. There is a great range of interesting books for everyone and lots of interesting gifts. By the way the office of vk.com is there 😉

One of the Petersburg Cathedrals is Isaakyevskiy Sobor. This gold-domed, ornate, 19th-century cathedral is the third largest domed cathedral in the world. You can reach that place from M. Admiralteyskaya.

By the way, there is Dolls Gallery near that cathedral. Working hours: Tue–Fri: 12:00–19:00 and Sat: 12:00–18:00
